In BMLD section, when the button S0N0 is pressed, pure tone and noise is presented to both ears. Both pure tone and noise has 0 degree relationship between the ears. SpiN0 is similar to S0N0 except that, puretones have out of phase relationship between the ears. You will find that, audibility of the pure tone is more prominent in SpiN0 condition than S0N0.
Lateralization tab demonstrates the usefulness of Inter-aural phase difference and inter aural level difference cues for lateralization. when, one earphone is placed in the ear you will find that, signal is heard repeatedly in that ear. However, when both earphones (left & right) are placed you will find that, auditory image moves between the ears. Similarly, under binaual beat tab, you will hear continuous pure tone if ear phone is placed in one ear and will perceive amplitude modulations if both ear phones are placed.
Under auditory scene tab you will find two options. When, harmonic button is pressed, a eight component harmonic complex tone with a F0 of 100Hz is presented and you will perceive single tone (complex tone). In mistuned condition, a same complex tone is presented with slight modification. That is 4th harmonic (500Hz) shifted by 20Hz (shifted to 20Hz). when this button is pressed, you will hear two tones (complex tone and pure tone)
