About SelfConf Tethering (ROOT)

English

Zeroconf like solution for your tethered clients. ***ROOT REQUIRED***

SelfConf Tethering enables your rooted device to communicate with tethered client device with pre-determined host name. This eliminates the need to look up dynamically assigned IP address on client device before communicating with it.

Quick Guide:

1. Start SelfConf Tethering from app launcher after installing.

[Should only require once unless app explicitly killed]

2. Enable tethering on your device (WIFI or USB)

[Check notification drawer for more info if you want]

3. Communicate with client as "tclient"

- Removed extra debug message from the notification
- Made notification message non-sticky

Treat this as a beta release guys. I build this app for my car infotainment system and thought might be useful for some of you. If there is any change you would like to see, let me know. I can't promise to bring all the requested features but will try to address them as much as possible. I hope this will help some of you :D
