"Be Freed from Budget"

Vantage is an C2C service app, where one can rent or buy any used item of another student, within our IIIT, Kalyani college campus. All they need to do is post an ad and wait for someone to show an interest in it. After one shows an interest in someone’s deal, they can have an interactive negotiation with the built-in chat functionality within the app. Once done, they can carry out the deal and confirm it on the app, which would remove the ad posted by the user, but on the off chance, if the deal gets cancelled and any side of the party no longer wishes to negotiate with the other, there will

be an “Not Interested” option that would delete the Ad Posted.

In short, it’s an market place for college students among themselves, where deals are made available at much lower price.

Some of the important features:

a. You can sell/buy/rent varied ranges of products within IIIT Kalyani Campus, all you need

is an official ‘@iiitkalyani.ac.in’ email domain to register.

b. Students can sell / provide rent to any used product by simply posting an Ad.

c. News Feed area shows update about what’s going on in the market, who needs what and who sells what.

d. The platform will be built keeping campus in mind, that means no need of travelling

tiresome distance to make a deal, owner and buyer are within campus!

e. One to One interaction between seller and buyer or owner and renter.

f. Easily negotiable deals and minimised chances of frauds as the buyer and seller will be

either classmates or at worst college-mates.

g. Non-editable Ads, that would ensure seller’s safety.

h. One-time registration based signup.

Why should someone use this App?

The number one reason should be, student’s are not financially independent, so to sell an item or to buy an used item for much lower price than the original new product would be like saving a fortune for many of them.

The app will be specific to our college campus, that means transportation hassle is cut down, easily negotiable deals and on top of that a trust-able environment is built.

It’s a good habit to help our fellow classmates or juniors or seniors while we can!

Moreover, using "Vantage" would also ensure saving a few bucks for your birthday party.
