The tarsiers are endangered species that are commonly found in the Philippine islands of Samar, Bphol, and Leyte. Because of incessant hunting and logging activities that isolate them from their natural habitat, the tarsiers' population is dwindling and, if the adversarial factors are not contained, they will become extinct soon.

Someone's ought to defend them from the lurking dangers.

His name is Juan Dela Cruz, also known as Juan the Defender.
