The Good Nurse Review: Best True Crime Movie 2022
Starring Academy Award Winners Jessica & Eddie, the crime movie The Good Nurse is coming soon to Netflix!
The Good Nurse, which is adapted from a non-fiction book of the same name written by Charles Graeber, is set to be released on Netflix on November 26. Unlike other crime movies full filled with violence, conflicts, and bloody plots, The Good Nurse focuses on an overworked nurse with a severe cardiac condition trying to balance her struggling life between frequent night shifts in ICU and her two young daughters' schooling at the first half part of the movie. It does not show too much about how Charlie Cullen murdered his patients. However, the superb acting of Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne brings Netflix subscribers in a heavy mood and makes them begin to worry about the dangerous position Amy is in.

Chastain plays Amy Loughten, a hard-working caregiver in a hospital in New Jersey. The arrival of Charlie Cullen, a hospitable, empathetic, and considerate nurse and his warm-hearted help and listening greatly lessens the burden on her shoulder as a single mother. A string of mysterious patients' death alerts the local police who take Charlie as the prime suspect. Under the request of the police, Amy risks her life to investigate the truth of the unnatural death of her patients.
Her subtle facial expression changes when she stays with Charlie are proof of her good acting and also make The Good Nurse a horror worthwhile to watch. To save her own life and also her children from a serial killer, she has to continue getting close to a psychopath, a warmhearted nurse on the surface yet actually a cold-blooded murderer...
According to the true-crime case happened in reality, Charlie is accused of murdering as many as 400 patients. We can see that Eddie makes a good performance acting as a brutal serial killer, though he doesn't have too many scenes in this film. His eyes show exactly what he's thinking which outstands this thriller among other crime films with bloody deaths and screams.
