Though designed to be used in dire situations wherein one may need a quick and surreptitious way to contact someone, but the app can be used in any situation wherein the user wants to cut down the effort required in looking a particular number in the phone book and then placing a call. Just add that number to this app, activate the app and shake it when call needs to be placed.
Efforts have been made to make the shake detection algorithm immune to inadvertent shaking induced during actions like jumping or running with the phone in your pocket. Future versions promise more robust algorithm.
