Choose your path through a tale of court intrigues in a nation gripped by war.

Regicide is a text-based role-playing game where every choice you make matters. Take the role of Duke Blackwood, the young heir of an ancient noble family, as he seeks revenge for the murder of his father. All around you the kingdom of Arlend, your homeland, is being ravaged by war, disease, and countless other threats. Will you become a hero of the peasants, or will you seize every advantage no matter who gets hurt?

Gather or use resources, forge alliances or make enemies on your path to seize the throne of Arlend. Make difficult choices, the effects of which will echo through the entire game. Navigate your way through a maze of events and reach your own climactic ending, chosen to match your previous decisions from thousands of possibilities.

This version of Regicide was specifically built for research into the IDEA (Interactive Dynamic Event-based Agency) system. Data collection for this research is now done and the application no longer transmits any kind of data to us. Thanks to all those who participated!
