ReadyConnect can be used alone or with groups. Alone, it lets your family create a disaster plan, create a contacts list, and access everyone through email or text. You can send a text, voice, or video message to everyone at once. You can also access your disaster plan and there is a library of disaster preparation and recovery information.
When you use ReadyConnect with a group, forums are added, so people can ask questions, share information and support each other. Businesses can connect with employees and share critical documents and instructions. Employees have access to this information online or through their app. Employees and business owners also have all the features to connect with their personal contacts list and their disaster plan.
When you use ReadyConnect in a community or with a chamber of commerce, more features are added such as a lost/found center to find pets, more informational forums, special needs reporting (elderly, handicapped), support for businesses in reopening, ReadyWatch to deter vandalism, and more. There is an administrative center to help you track the recovery status of business.
