Bastyon runs on the blockchain. This means that it is decentralized and there is no way to control it and no way to limit access to it. The blockchain is composed of a network of servers all over the world and there is no government that can limit access to it. Bastyon is the "bitcoin" of social medias.

Privacy and Security are completely respected. You do not need to use an email or phone number to register. Bastyon does not store any personal data, not even your IP address.
