Guru movie, Guru movie songs,Guru (English: Mentor) is a Telugu film written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad which features Daggubati Venkatesh in the lead role. It is a remake of director's own Tamil film Irudhi Suttru (2016).

The story is about a boxing coach, who is not able to win the championship of his time due to malpractices by his opponent. He finds a fisher-woman who is aggressive and suitable for the boxing role. He trains her hard and makes her the boxing champion.

Daggubati Venkatesh is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a career spanning 30 years, he starred in 72 feature films. He has played a variety of roles in Telugu cinema and a few Bollywood films.[1] He has received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards for best acting.

Along with his brother Daggubati Suresh Babu, Venkatesh is the co-owner of Suresh Productions, one of the largest film production companies in India. Venkatesh has starred in several of his films under this production. In a career spanning three decades, he had acted in many commercially successful films like Kaliyuga Pandavulu, Prema, Bobbili Raja, Shatruvu, Coolie No.1, Chanti, Sundarakanda, Kondapalli Raja, Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Pavitra Bandham, Suryavamsam, Ganesh, Premante Idera, Raja, Kalisundam Raa, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Vasu, Malliswari, Gharshana, Sankranthi, Lakshmi, Tulasi, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Drushyam, Gopala Gopala. Ritika Singh (born 16 December 1994) is an Indian actress and mixed martial artist, who predominantly appears in Tamil films and also has appeared in Hindi and Telugu films. After competing for India at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games and then participating in the Super Fight League, she played a leading role in Sudha Kongara Prasad's Tamil film Irudhi Suttru (also shot in Hindi as Saala Khadoos) alongside R. Madhavan. She won Special Mention at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance in Irudhi Suttru.

M. Nassar is an Indian film actor, director and producer, who mainly works in the South Indian film industry. He is the incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam.Nassar was born on 5 March 1958 to Mehaboob Basha and Mumtaz in Baticalo, sri lanka. At Madras Christian College, he was an active member of the Dramatic Society. Later for a brief time, he worked in the Indian Air Force. He trained in two acting schools: the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce's Film Institute and the Tamil Nadu Institute for Film and Television Technology.

Sudha Kongara is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for her works in Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, and Bollywood.She debuted as a screen writer for the Indian English film Mitr, My Friend, which won the Best English Film of the year award at the 49th National Film Awards.She then worked as associate director for seven years with Mani Ratnam.In 2016, she made her Hindi cinema debut with Saala Khadoos.
