IBF Crime Scene Camera

IBF Camera is a Forensic Road Traffic Crash Photography Tool.

This is a specialized Android-based Digital Camera Application that is based on a special 124-Point At-scene and Post Event Forensic Road Traffic Crash Investigation Protocol, developed by IBF Investigations, based in South Africa.

Based on real-world experience at thousands of crash scenes, this application will enable the user (private, corporate or law enforcement) to conduct a complete photographic investigation and to gather relevant facts in an easy step-by-step process.

By following the steps in this Application, the user will gather vital evidence for use in hearings, trials, court cases, criminal matters and insurance claims.

The location, date and time is automatically recorded or can be edited for post-event investigation purposes. The photographs are automatically embedded with vital Telematic Data, like date, time, heading (direction in which photograph was taken) and GPS Coordinates. Kindly note that all relevant services need to be turned on for full functionality.

In typical crashes, people tend to be overwhelmed, emotionally charged or intimidated by everything they believe they need to cover. This application will help users to slow down, to follow a process step-by-step and to gather all the relevant evidence.

You can complete the basics at a scene and return to the case later to add additional details, to take more photographs (like when tracing a vehicle) or to review your work, at any time.

When done, you can mail a text-based report to an e-mail you selected and this will generate an automatic report that you can use to save the most important details of the collision or for insurance purposes.
