Chess PGN Analyzer runs a chess engine over your own games and tells you, move by move, what happened.
Paste a PGN, type a FEN, or share a game in from another app. The analyzer plays through it with Stockfish and marks every move: book, good, great, inaccuracy, mistake or blunder, with the evaluation before and after and the move the engine would have played instead.
SHARE A GAME IN FROM ANYWHERE
Chess PGN Analyzer appears in the share sheet of any app that can send text or an image. A PGN, a FEN or a screenshot of a position travels into the app in two taps — no copying, no retyping, no export step. Text opens the import screen already filled in. Finished a game somewhere else? Send it over and look at it properly.
SEE WHERE THE GAME TURNED
An evaluation bar beside the board tracks who stands better as you step through the moves. Openings are named as you go. Captured material is shown above and below the board, so you can see the balance at a glance.
PLAY IT OUT YOURSELF
At any point in a game you can take over the board and play the move you wish you had found. The engine grades it the same way, tells you what it would have preferred, and a single button swaps your move for its own. Undo, reset, and carry on from wherever you like.
SET UP ANY POSITION
Start from a FEN instead of a game, or from the standard position, and play against the engine's suggestions to test an idea. Copy any position back out as a FEN, or the line you played as a PGN.
ANALYSIS ON YOUR TERMS
Analysis runs on the device by default, at a search depth you choose. Divergence moves — the ones you play yourself — have their own, quicker setting, because a single move should not keep you waiting. Account holders can switch the engine to our server for deeper analysis; positions are sent only while that runs, and it can be turned off at any time.
