Catch! makes travel better. Catch! gets you all the information you need to get from your doorstep to your destination no matter where you are in the UK. Whether you want all your options for travelling cross country, or just want to see when the next bus is coming, or whether your train is running on time, it’s all just a few clicks away.

The app studies your location so that it can sift through tonnes of information to put just what you need to know at your fingertips. At the same time, Catch! also builds a picture of how your community travels by capturing travel habits and usage patterns. This rich information shows how transport systems are used and lets local authorities spot pinch points, identify trends and make informed decisions that make travel better for all of us.

The aim of the Catch! Project is that through a better understanding of how citizens use transport systems, Local Transport Authorities and Transport Service Providers can consider this in their planning and service design going forward. Catch! project also seeks to better model people flows and identify new opportunities for improving travel experiences. While the journey planner aims to give useful information and search results in as few licks as possible.

Save those transport hubs, bus stops or train stations that you always use in a handy list so you can see all the live travel information at a single click.

Enter your home and work place so you can plan your journey there with one jab of the thumb.

About Catch!

Catch! is a project funded by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency. Catch! generates next-generation data on how the transport system is operating because the community automatically shares live travel conditions on all methods of transport. This information will allow the app to give citizens gives better, frustration free routing and provide local authorities with the clarity to make informed planning decisions that give all of us better transport experiences.
