After installation you have to open the app for at least one time to get it to work. Because since Android 3.1, all the newly installed apps will get into a STOP stage and remain inactive until they are launched for the first time.

APP DESCRIPTION:

Automatic Bluetooth Toggle is a simple and practical app for user of Bluetooth headsets. The app turns Bluetooth on when the device receives phone calls and when the user makes phone calls.

The app automatically turns Bluetooth on and off without any needless user interaction. No need to turn on Bluetooth manually and choose your headset in the settings screen. Just turn on your headset and press the headset's call button, that's all.

No manual steps are needed to activate or deactivate Bluetooth. That makes it easier to make phone calls using a Bluetooth headset. The app will also save your battery as you don't need to keep your Bluetooth on all the time.

Automatic Bluetooth Toggle is free and contains no ads.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

- when the phone is ringing: turn on your headset and press the headset's call button

- when you make a call: turn on your headset and press the headset's call button

- the app takes care of Bluetooth, the user has only to handle the headset

- the automatic enabling and disabling of Bluetooth can be activated / deactivated in the app settings (see picture above)

- NOTE: if Bluetooth is already enabled, when Bluetooth remains, of course, enabled after the phone call too

Your Bluetooth headset must be paired with your Smartphone to use it with this app.

EXPLANATION OF PERMISSIONS:

- BLUETOOTH: this permission is needed to detect Bluetooth state (ENABLE / DISABLE) and to enable and disable Bluetooth

- PHONE STATE: this permission is needed to detect phone state (RINGING / CALLING / IDLE) in order to enable and disable Bluetooth at the right time

- OUTGOING CALL: this permission is needed to detect outgoing calls in order to enable Bluetooth at the right time

BATTERY DRAIN:

You don't have to worry about battery drain. Automatic Bluetooth Toggle consumes almost no battery power. There are no running services in the background that could drain the battery.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Incoming Call

1. the phone is ringing

2. app turns on Bluetooth

3. turn on your headset and answer the call (press the headset's call button)

4. make the phone call

5. end the call (press the headset's call button)

6. app turns off Bluetooth

Outgoing Call

1. dial phone number

2. app turns on Bluetooth

3. turn on your headset

4. make the phone call

5. end the call (press the headset's call button)

6. app turns off Bluetooth
