The Pinkerton Mobile Alerting Application allows alert publishers in the field the ability to quickly submit and distribute near real-time alerts through a common/structured platform (Threat Monitor), providing a unique “boots on the ground” perspective and highly targeted for unique client needs.
Features include the ability to share pictures and videos taken with the device, select associated CAP (Common Alerting Protocol) attributes, and add a title and description. This data is stored along with current location onto the Pinkerton server allowing for a seamless connection between the tactical team and field agents. Additionally, the user can view alerts from team members as well as their current position on a map. Location is continuously obtained and stored in the background as long as the app is running.
