We've had reports of the app crashing on login which on investigation were related to the mobile provider 'mangling' the internet data traffic, we're looking into how to work round this, but in the interim it can be resolved by:
if you're on o2 - switch APN to mobile.o2.co.uk (vs wap)
if you're on giffgaff remove the proxy address from your APN settings.
