The application measures the average speed during the journey on the counterfoils.

Application functions:

- automatic measurement of the current average speed during the passage through the area covered by segmental speed control - the application knows the location of the cameras and turns on the measurement when passing under the camera, and then stops the measurement at the end of the measurement section,

- displaying the current speed based on the GPS signal,

- displaying the current speed limit on a given section,

- displaying the distance to the nearest camera and to the end of the measuring section,

- using the button you can select the type of vehicle you are moving at the moment (in many sections the permitted speeds for passenger cars and lorries differ),

- adjusting the speed limit to the current time (ie it happens that in a given section there is a different permitted speed at night and a different one during the day),

- after passing through the measuring section, the application displays a report on the obtained average for a given section,

- the application uses an updated database of measurement sections (camera location based on official CANARD data),

- the possibility of reporting new measuring sections,

- possibility of manual measurement of average speed at any time - not only on designated sections,

- the application communicates using vibrations, sound signals and a Polish language teacher,

- the application window can be hidden (it will work "in the background") and use other applications at the time (eg from navigation),

- using the "HIDE" button causes the appearance of a mini window, which is visible on other applications (eg for navigation).

Comments:

1. The application uses a GPS signal and you should remember some important details:

* the most accurate indication is obtained only after a few minutes of operation of the GPS module in your device, especially when the module has not been used for a few days ("warming up" GPS may take up to 12 minutes),

* GPS speed readings are usually about 2-4 km / h lower than the car speedometer (with the GPS readings being closer to the actual speed),

* should be corrected for the natural error of GPS signal measurement (device quality, interference, "visibility" of satellites in a given place) and it is safest to keep the speed slightly below the average of GPS,

2. Some cameras are still inactive, but drivers will not be notified when the measurement on a given episode will be started - it's best to just drive with the speed allowed :)
