Campus Map for Montclair State University

This app is an interactive mobile based application, which helps the user to easily navigate within the university. A person can open this app and tour the campus with ease as it provides the map of entire campus and thus helps the user in finding the places where he would like to go. This system uses location services to identify his/her exact location and also helps to find his/her destination. The user can view and find destination to any of the buildings, departments, and food services within the university. Also, the user can get all the information about classrooms, meeting rooms, office rooms, restrooms, and elevator locations present in any building along with its route map. The main goal of our application is to provide path instructions to go to a certain location in the university campus. The application must be able to display the user’s current location and the user can navigate on the map at the same time that he is also able to obtain path instructions.

This application is mainly intended for the students, professors, guests who are new Montclair State University or who would like to become familiar with the campus. However It is open to all and anyone can who is having trouble in finding a specific place in our university should be able to access this application easily. At this moment, I have identified some of my friends and family members to be the test users to give feedback on the functionality of the app.
