Archwilio – Exploring the archaeology of WalesDrawing information from over one hundred thousand records of archaeological sites in the Historic Environment Records of the Welsh Archaeological Trusts, the Archwilio app is a great way to find out more about the history and archaeology of Wales.Through use of GPS you can discover the sites around you anywhere in Wales. No 3G coverage? Simply view the area you intend to visit while you have access to wi-fi and the Archwilio app will store the information for you to view when you are out on your visit.If you encounter something which isn’t shown on the Archwilio app then you can make a new record or edit an existing one, take a photograph and send it through to the local Archaeological Trust.
