New region and story

New region: Mengzhou – Land of Xuanfang, an area within Huanglong with a mix of ancient architecture and mechanical/industrial structures.
New enemies and Echoes: foes like Fog Lionarch and new Kernel Puppets, plus new Echo sets tied to Thousand-Puppet Pavilion and Myriad Snare.
Main story: Chapter IV continues Rover’s return to Huanglong and Jinzhou, including acts such as “The Wind Before the Storm” and “Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled,” plus a segue chapter focusing on Yangyang and Suisui.

Mengzhou exploration also brings new mechanics like better Echo gathering range and fresh puzzles/mechanisms in the city.

New characters, Rover, and banners

Yangyang: Xuanling (Havoc Sword, 5★ SP) – Main DPS focused on Heavy Attack damage and Havoc Bane mechanics, with Azure and Feather stances for different combo styles; has a 5★ sword "Azure of Heaven" as her signature.
Suisui (Glacio Rectifier, 5★) – Support/sustain who inflicts Negative Status effects, applies Glacio, and provides strong team healing and utility; has a 5★ Rectifier as her signature weapon.
Electro Rover – New element form with a kit oriented around support/sub-DPS, inflicting multiple debuffs like Spectro Frazzle, Aero Erosion, and Electro Flare while buffing allies.

Casual events: Photography-style events, Lollo Campaign: New Journey, Gifts of Aftertune, and more.
Rewards: Astrites, Radiant and Lustrous Tides, Premium Tuners, Resonance materials, cosmetics, and upgrade resources.

Summer-themed Deluxe outfits for Lynae and Chisa are also added in 3.5.

The preview broadcast also gave three limited-time redeem codes (MECHANISMCITY, INTOTHEFOG, REUNION) that each granted 100 Astrites plus materials but expired on June 28, 2026.

Quality-of-life and system changes

Key QoL and system improvements:

Per-character voice language selection (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean) instead of only global language.
Endstate Matrix Cycle Season 2: Adversity Vanguard, with refreshed rewards.
Better Guidebook interface for faster access to material domains and progression info.
Improved beginner rewards and event systems targeted at new players joining during or before 3.5.
Client optimization: reduced game install size, mobile storage cleanup tools, and support for Intel XeSS 3 Frame Generation on compatible PCs.
The exploration motorbike is usable in both Huanglong and Mengzhou, plus a free jade-green “Cloud Ride Chassis Mod” via main quest.
New Sonata Effects for Echo sets to diversify builds.
