DeNa Co and The Pokémon Company have begun the festivities for the fourth anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. Players can enjoy various new features, events, rewards, and login bonuses. Moreover, three fresh sync pairs are being introduced with their own unique Pokémon and abilities to enhance gameplay experience.
Pokémon Masters EX is a strategy battling game that builds teams of Trainer and Pokémon sync pairs.
The game will now feature three pairs of Master sync pairs, who have passive abilities that continuously boost the entire team. These duos also have a new EX Role, which gives an immediate increase in stats. Additionally, once they reach 6-stars, these pairs can unleash an even more powerful sync move.
The initial sync pair includes Red and Zapdos, who are ice-type partners with the impressive ability called Kanto Spirit master. This skill enhances the team's special attack and slightly reduces the damage they take from special attacks. With Frozen Wings Ice Beam, they can freeze opponents while dealing significant damage and weakening their defensive passive abilities.
Leaf & Moltres are a duo with Leaf being the trainer and Moltres being a fire-type Pokémon. They have an ability called Kanto Pride that boosts their physical damage output while reducing the physical damage they receive. Their special move, Fiery Wings Flare Blitz, not only intensifies the battle but also alters the weather conditions, making it more likely for opponents to get burned.
For the fourth-anniversary celebrations in Pokémon Masters EX, a new sync pair has been introduced featuring Blue and Zapdos. This electric-type duo brings a powerful move called Thundering Wings Roost which offers two benefits: it inflicts significant damage on opponents while also healing up to 30% of the HP for all members of your team. Players have until October 6th to obtain all three characters in this sync pair.
