Pokémon GO trainers will find out that Remote Raid Pass prices go higher days later. Get ready for the price adjustments and new limits in the latest update.

    Big Changes to Pokémon GO Comes on April 6

    Pokémon GO trainers greeted an unwelcomed announcement that price adjustments will go live on April 6th, 2023. Trainers may not be happy about the upcoming Pokémon GO Remote Raid Pass updates as Pass Bundles are more expensive. The prices, according to the official blog of Pokémon GO, have increased almost double. Huge Changes not only come to pricing but limits on participation. A Trainer is limited to participateing in the Remote Raid Pass a maximum of five times per day.

    Participation Limits

    • Remote Raid Pass is capped at 5 times per day
    • This maximum may change when it comes to some special events

    Pricing Adjustments

    • Single Remote Raid Pass will increase from 100 Pokécoins to 195 Pokécoins
    • Remote Raid Pass three-pack will increase from 300 Pokécoins to 525 Pokécoins
    • Premium Battle Pass three-pack that costs 250 Pokécoins can be purchased in the item shop
    • Remote Raid Pass
    • Remote Raid Pass can be earned at a cap of three per person
    • Remote Raid Pass may be rewarded via Research Breakthroughs
    • A Premium Raid Pass will be rewarded when a trainer gets three Remote Raid Pass

    Why Pokémon GO Raises The Prices

    Pokémon GO creator Niantic has officially announced a major update on its Remote Raid Passes. In an interview involving this latest game balance changes, the maker of Pokémon GO expressed that they would continue to adhere to their core value of outdoor gameplay, exploration and socialization. The data of deep research on Remote Raid Pass shows that the tons of lock-down era bonuses given makes the Remote Raid Passes much more convenient and easy to play and win.

    Considering the long future of Pokémon GO, Niantic believes that a set of changes on Pokémon GO passes prices, bonuses and limits on participation has to be set. “We feel this is a necessary step toward our goal of preserving and improving the unique experience of playing Pokémon GO – a game we hope you continue to enjoy long into the future.” The dev stated.
