Despite not achieving the same level of impact as Tencent's Honor of Kings or League of Legends, Moonton's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has carved its niche. The developer seeks to leverage this popularity with a spin-off entitled Magic Chess: Go Go.

Slated for a release on December 31st, Magic Chess: Go Go is an auto-battler game, contrary to what the name might suggest. Taking cues from Teamfight Tactics and Auto Chess, players will strategize and create powerful teams from characters in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The brilliance of the game lies in preparing and foreseeing the opponent's plan.

Despite the familiar game formula, Magic Chess brings in its unique elements such as optional 10v10 format apart from the usual 5v5. More details are expected to remain in-line with traditional auto-battling games. Pre-registration for Magic Chess: Go Go is available on its official site.
