Blue Archive's Latest Update Brings Back New Year and Cherry Blossom Events
Nexon's Blue Archive is preparing for a rerun of the New Year's Rhapsody No 68 event from last year, along with two new Cherry Blossom events!
Even though it's Halloween time, Nexon's Blue Archive is following its own schedule. The well-liked JRPG game is preparing to bring back the New Year's Rhapsody No 68 event that happened in August last year. Along with this event revival, two fresh characters will be introduced and there will be new storylines and quality-of-life enhancements as well.
Blue Archive has introduced a new character called Kayoko, who comes from Gehana Academy and specializes in mystical attacks. Despite her cute kimono attire, she is a strong combatant with an EX ability that can give one of her teammates (excluding herself) an amulet for 40 seconds.
Haruka, a fellow kimono wearer and schoolmate of Kayoko, joins her on the journey. Despite having low self-confidence, Haruka excels as an explosive striker by using her shotgun to annihilate enemies. She continues fighting with unwavering determination and possesses a powerful EX skill that inflicts massive damage in a wide area.
The Cherry Blossom Festival Commotion is back as a recurring event, and it no longer has a specific end date. Nexon has announced that they have many events and questlines in progress, with the most significant one being an epilogue for Phrenapates Showdown. This was the final episode of the game's main story chapter four, and it will be released on October 3rd.
In addition, players will have the opportunity to engage in various fresh missions that include six distinct T8 gear types designed to enhance gameplay. Furthermore, Blue Archive's upcoming second anniversary promises exciting festivities ahead. On the 28th, a livestream event will showcase personal stories from players as part of the celebrations.
