This application provides a variety of resources for users to learn the Nahuatl language. Nahuatl is a language spoken by Nahua peoples of Mexico. This application uses the conventions of Nahuatl used in la Huasteca Veracruzana. This application is free and is made possible by funding from the Conflencenter for Creative Inquiry and the department of history at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
Version 2.0 will include many updates. For example, more recordings, more vocabulary words, more images for picture matching, and a new game called “word dissection.”
The Nahuatl language is alive, and so are the Macehualmeh that speak it.
