Type a message, show it off, then tap the Clear/Speak button to wipe the text entry box. If you want to turn on Text-to-Speech, just hold the Clear/Speak button. The button will change colors and change to Speak/Clear. Now, when you tap that button, in addition to giving you a fresh text entry box, your message will be spoken by your device's TTS engine.
Need to repeat that last message? Tap the Previous/History button to bring up the last message you cleared or had read aloud. Hold the Previous/History button to select from a list of your last 7 messages.
Type a message and then rotate your phone into landscape mode to hide the buttons, disable text entry, and display your message in a larger font size.
