PingLab

PingLab is a professional network diagnostics toolkit for Android designed for developers, system administrators, gamers, and advanced users who need accurate connectivity testing and monitoring tools.

Test network latency using genuine ICMP ping, discover devices on your local network, monitor services in real time, and troubleshoot WiFi or cellular connectivity issues directly from your phone.

KEY FEATURES

• Real ICMP Ping

Perform true network-layer ICMP ping tests instead of simple HTTP requests. Measure latency, packet loss, and response stability with accurate diagnostics similar to desktop networking tools.

• Device Discovery

Scan your local network to identify connected devices, detect manufacturers using MAC address lookup, and classify device types.

• Service Watcher

Monitor multiple hosts and services simultaneously. Organize monitoring groups, enable auto-refresh, and instantly see which systems are online or offline.

• Network Dashboard

View important network information at a glance, including:

- WiFi signal strength

- Frequency band

- Local IP address

- Public IP address

- ISP information

- Connected device count

• Cellular Network Information

Display carrier details, network type (5G/LTE/3G), SIM state, and signal strength information.

• Bandwidth Monitor

Track real-time upload and download traffic usage on your current connection.

• Connectivity Diagnostics

Quickly troubleshoot unstable internet connections, routing problems, latency spikes, and packet loss issues.

PERFECT FOR

• Network administrators

• Developers and backend engineers

• System administrators

• IT support professionals

• Gamers monitoring latency

• Home users troubleshooting WiFi networks

WHY PINGLAB?

Most Android ping applications rely on HTTP requests, which only test application-layer connectivity. PingLab uses genuine ICMP ping support through native Android networking capabilities for more accurate latency measurements and packet diagnostics.

The app is lightweight, fast, and focused on practical diagnostics without unnecessary clutter.

PRIVACY

PingLab does not collect, store, or sell personal data.

All diagnostics are processed locally on your device. The only optional external request is for public IP and ISP lookup functionality.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

• Internet

Required for ping tests and public IP lookup.

• WiFi State

Used to display WiFi network information.

• Network State

Used to detect connectivity status.

• Location

Required by Android for WiFi scanning functionality. PingLab does not use location data for tracking.

• Phone State
