Opened in 1995, Memphis Café quickly earned critical acclaim and a loyal following from Orange County locals starved for an innovative menu and casual yet urbane setting in this restored 1953 mid-century classic building.

This bustling boite offers a distinctive gourmet interpretation of Southern homestyle cooking in a casual “roadhouse” setting with enlightened service and hospitality. House specialties include crab cakes with smoked tomato sauce, downhome gumbo, and an Angus beef herb-baked meatloaf stack. Memphis Café’s beverage list offers an array of specialty craft beers and cocktails as well as a well-edited wine list.

The cafe is opened for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch and accommodates 45 guests in an intimately-lit dining area and bar. Alfresco dining is available on its 30-seat enclosed patio. Late night Djs provide entertainment Tuesday-Saturday and a revolving photo exhibit provides interior wall décor.

Memphis Café is conveniently located on Bristol Street next to the LAB in the SoBeCa District of Costa Mesa and near The Camp and South Coast Plaza shopping center.

Memphis Café Parking: Free Parking in Memphis parking lot except Thursday-Saturday Evenings when lot converts to valet only at $3. There is also parking available on adjacent Randolph Street.
