Kansas-Nebraska Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. We serve the states of Kansas and Nebraska, with headquarters in Topeka, KS. We are under the direction of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and Mid-America Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. We are a Protestant religious organization. The name Seventh-day Adventists states the two primary doctrines of our faith: we worship on the seventh day of the week—Saturday—and we await the second coming of Jesus Christ. The Church operates the second largest parochial school system in the world. Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We also accept the prophetic teachngs of Ellen G. White (1827-1915), one of the founders of the Church. Organized in 1863, Seventh-day Adventist membership today totals more than 18 million members worldwide.
