1.Public Works Department registers Civil Contractors for execution of works and issues registration certificates to them.

2.Other departments use the same registration certificate to allot civil works to them.

3.Depending on the applied class for registration the documents submitted by contractors are checked at different levels like EE/SE/CE and Government. Verified documents are submitted to the competent authority for issue of Registration Certificate.
