Your screen doesn’t say “Player 3.” It shows the actual faces in the room - your photo, your friend’s photo, everyone playing as themselves.

Put the phone in the middle. Three minutes later nobody is leaving.

HOW A ROUND GOES

The phone goes around. Everyone sees their secret word. Everyone except the imposter, who gets the category and nothing else, and has to fake the rest.

Then you each give one clue. Too specific and you hand the round to the imposter. Too vague and the table turns on you. Meanwhile the imposter is quietly building a story out of three words they just overheard.

Then you vote. Not by pointing - by tapping a face on the screen. Get it right and the room erupts. Get it wrong and the imposter grins while everyone demands a rematch. There is always a rematch.

THE PART NO OTHER GAME HAS

In every other imposter game, “Player 3” looks suspicious. Here your cousin looks suspicious, because your cousin’s face is on the screen.

The voting screen ends up looking less like a list of names and more like a photo album of the night. Accusing someone gets personal. Being cleared gets personal. And when the imposter is finally revealed, everyone’s first instinct is to screenshot it.
