Flying Spartan is a space shoot-em up game set in the year 2096. The earth’s resources are dwindling and the big corporations have begun their race to farm other planets for their resources. You are part of a private army known as the flying Spartans owned by a universal conglomerate and your search as brought you to the deep dark corner of the space in the Bayeux cluster. So strap yourselves in to race through the uncharted space and take on other private armies other conglomerates.

You as a player are the ace decorated pilot GRE-44. Get ready to blaze through the unknown of the space, dodging asteroids and shooting down other private armies for hire in the race to the next pot of gold. You get your standard issue CC-96(Crater Cruiser – 96) aircraft. Outfitted with synchronised combat and manoeuvrability, nothing can stand in your way and when the situation gets really sticky OTFE(On The Fly Enhancers) are here to save the day.

1) Threeway Canon – Why only one when you can have three guns. This particular enhancement energizes your proton generator emitting three different proton torpedoes. A fine addition to your arsenal.

2) Cosmic Wave – Tap into the space’s cosmic energy and hurl the amassed power on your enemies and make them cower in fear. There is nowhere you can run, nowhere you can hide.

3) Dynamic Deflector – Simple physics at play where a plasma generator is contained surrounded by magnetic rings. When they spin they produce a plasma shield which can deflect any energy based weapon. It’s a defensive weapon but as true Spartan you should know that the object of your defence can be used for your offence.

The combat and the movement is designed to cater one handed use. Blast your enemies while on your favourite drink or eating a slice of pizza. But don’t take the enemies for granted. They are smart, they try to dodge and out manoeuvre.
