The description of John Cena
John Cena born April 23, 1977 is an American professional wrestler, actor, rapper and television host. He is currently signed to WWE, where he appears for both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
From January until April 2018, Cena was involved in a storyline where he was trying to find his "path to WrestleMania". After he lost the Royal Rumble and the namesake Elimination Chamber match to determine the next number one contender for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber, as well as a six-pack challenge at Fastlane for the WWE Championship, Cena issued a challenge to The Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania 34. He repeated his challenge over the next several weeks, only to receive no answer from Undertaker. On the March 19 episode of RAW, after calling out The Undertaker yet again, Cena was confronted and choke slammed by Undertaker's storyline brother Kane. This led to a no-disqualification match between the two a week later which Cena won. After the match, Cena called out The Undertaker again to no response. At WrestleMania 34, after Cena drove off Elias in a confrontation, Undertaker returned and accepted Cena's challenge, leading to a shocked Cena losing to Undertaker in just a few minutes. Three weeks later, at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Cena defeated Triple H. After the match he thanked the crowd for sticking by him during a tough period, referencing his loss to Undertaker at WrestleMania and his recent breakup with Nikki Bella. He then went on hiatus to focus on his acting and television career.
Outside of wrestling, Cena released the 2005 rap album You Can't See Me, which debuted at No. 15 on the United States Billboard 200 chart. In 2006, Cena began an acting career in feature films with his first role being in The Marine. He went on star and appear in other films such as 12 Rounds (2009), Legendary (2010), The Reunion (2011), Trainwreck (2015), Sisters (2015), Daddy's Home (2015), The Wall (2017), Daddy's Home 2 (2017), Ferdinand (2017) and the upcoming Transformers prequel Bumblebee: The Movie (2018). He has also made appearances on television shows including Manhunt, Deal or No Deal, MADtv, Saturday Night Live, Punk'd, Psych and Parks and Recreation. Cena was a contestant on Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race, where he made it to the final round before being eliminated, placing third in the overall competition. Cena is the host of American Grit on Fox and is involved in numerous philanthropic causes, such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he has granted more than 500 wishes, the most in Make-A-Wish history.
