Dive into the world of the Jochenstein Danube power plant by taking a tour of the plant, complete with 3D effects. You will be able to observe the local fish population on the bed of the river and discover how the power plant functions as a waste collection facility.

As the tour highlight, we take you on a virtual journey through a Kaplan turbine – something not possible for even the most experienced engineers!

How to use your smartphone as 3D glasses:

- Download the “Jochenstein Energy Experience” app.

- Purchase your VR glasses from the vending machine at the Info Centre or from the “House on the River”.

- Start your self-guided tour and look for the QR codes located throughout the power plant

The VR glasses are available from the vending machine for 10 euros. You will receive 8 euros back upon returning the VR glasses to the “House on the River”.
