Junior Chamber International India (JCI India) has a PAN India presence of more than 50,000 members, who are successful individuals from all walks of life with special emphasis on individual development. For the past 60 years, JCI has been focusing on developing the leadership skills of young men and women of the country and was able to produce thousands of social and business leaders all over the country through intensive training activities. Apart from providing opportunities to young people, JCI also undertakes various community development projects and many programs for the upliftment of the underprivileged section of the society.
The vision of Jc G. Subramanian, National President of JCI India for 2015 is - LET US COMMIT FOR FUTURE, CONNECT WITH FUTURE AND CARE FOR FUTURE As part of the centenary celebrations, JCI India JCI India is aiming to construct 1,000 toilets for needy girl students across the country under the project titled SAMADAN
Junior Chamber International Secunderabad, founded in 1973 is a leading JCI chapter in India having a standing of about 43 years. It has been instrumental in conducting several programs for Training and Leadership Development, Community Service, and Business Networking etc.
. 2015 - Under the leadership of Jc Sirish Javvaji, President JCI Secunderabad, along with SJC Charitable Trust collectively spent about Rs.3 Lakhs for the installation of an ultra modern RO Plant absolutely FREE OF COST at the premises of Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Khairatabad Hyderabad for providing Purified Drinking Water at no cost to all the daily visitors
. 2012 - Under the leadership of Jc Sravan Madap, President 2012, Contribution of a sum of Rs. 2.5 lakhs was given as scholarships and other community service activities
. 2008 - Under the leadership of Jc.Haridarshan Salike, President 2008, the chapter organized a creative programme titled JUDWAA involving the Twins of Twin Cities wherein 100 Twins (200 people) had participated on a common platform and exhibited their skills through the tests on Attitude, Personality and Appearance. The age limit will be from 6 years to 80 years.
. 2005 - Under the leadership of Jc T V Reddy, President 2005, Contribution to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh was given to the Tsunami affected victims
. 2004 - Under the leadership of Jc Jaya Maddulettey, President 2004, a Non Jaycee Training programme called Hundred Jobs 2004 was organised. Chapter proudly accomplished its goal of recruiting the deserving unemployed youth in 100 different jobs.
For the last 15 years, JCI Secunderabad has been organising IMPACT (A 12 day Soft Skills Training Programme for Students and Unemployed Youth). Training is provided by eminent trainers in very diverse subject areas like Communication Skills, Effective Decision Making, Interview Techniques, Human Relations, Leadership, Goal Setting, Time Mgmt, Team Building, Effective Public Speaking, Stress Management etc. In all these years, this program has benefitted over 20,000 young citizens, who are studying or pursuing career opportunities. These young people have benefitted immensely and achieved success in their profession
The Chapter has to its credit hosted number of Conferences of JCI India and various other programmes in a very unique manner which have contributed to the growth of the organisation and also provided lot of mileage to the Sponsors of the Event
