The site www.izf.net, common property of the two sub-regional institutions, CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) and UEMOA (West African Economic and Monetary Union), was created in October 1998, at the initiative of the Ministers of Economy and Finance, to fill a gap: the lack of useful and credible information on the countries that share the CFA franc.
The IZF Association, responsible for the management of the site www.izf.net, aims to make visible the actions of the organs and institutions of CEMAC and UEMOA, to promote investments in the Franc Zone, to build the capacities established in the zone, to increase the exports of these companies and to contribute to the improvement of the integration of the countries of the Franc Zone into world trade, to support youth entrepreneurship, all by making available information and resources.
