Unequal, also known as 'Futoshiki', is an interesting number puzzle from Japan. To solve the game, you have to put the numbers from 1-4, 1-5, or 1-6 in a grid of size 4, 5, or 6, respectively. Similar to Sudoku, the numbers may only occur once in a row and column. There are some 'less than' (<) and 'greater than' (>) signs in the grid, which must be true for the neighbouring cells.

But don't worry, you don't need to be a maths expert. These are the only rules, so if you know that 2 < 4 and 3 > 1 you will enjoy playing it.

The game is perfect for people of all ages for in between times or just for relaxing. Using the larger grids, you may also strengthen your brain.
