The IPCO Cloudfone® service gives you a mobile telephony service where the preferred call setups are done through Wi-Fi. When Wi-Fi is unavailable, call setups are on legacy GSM. The service works seamlessly with legacy GSM voice service so you maintain your mobile telephone number regardless of access method.
Your smartphone needs an IPCO enabled SIM card, and the service uses SIM authentication methods with no need to enter usernames or passwords.
The IPCO Cloudfone App requires your mobile operator to offer the Cloudfone® service to work, and in some instances you are required to install a new SIM card to enable the service. Contact your mobile operator if you don’t know whether the operator offers the Cloudfone® service or not.
