Signs Speak

'Signs Speak' is a two-way communication medium for the Deaf and Dumb people.

The objective of 'Signs Speak' is to reach out to the hearing-impaired and speech-impaired individuals by providing them with the means of interacting with the people unfamiliar with sign language.

The application consists of an Indian-Sign-Language (ISL) keyboard to provide input in sign-language. The user can also type in simple-English on the main screen.

This input provided by the user generates corresponding voice-output using "SPEAK" (so that the person interacting with the user can listen).

Similarly, using the "HEAR" button, the voice input (of the person speaking to the user) is recognized and displayed on the main screen in Sign-language as well as simple English.
