Founder King of Glory Church

By the grace of God the Father, I greet you in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ who saved, protected, blessed and chose me as HIS minister.

I lift praises to the Lord with a thankful heart for the grace HE has bestowed on King of Glory Church for the past years. I praise the Lord who chose us who were simple, as vessels of grace and revealed his glory to thousands and blessed them.

1 Chr 4:9,10 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

When I was saved in 17years, beloved man of God Pastor. Frolic presented me with a bible and gave me this verse as promise. This verse had a place in my heart from then on. The Lord blessed us according to that verse too.

In 1987, I and Sis. Helen got married. The Lord started intervening in our life. Gen 12:2, And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. The Lord gave us this word. But after my marriage, instead of blessing, storm blew in my life. Sicknesses started tormenting my wife’s body. First time, when my wife conceived, the foetus died at the end of 7th month. We were in great difficulty. Similarly, 5 babies continuously died when they were in the mother’s womb. Why should this happen to me alone? This question and pain broke my heart more.

According to the leading of the Lord, I got a job in Singapore in 1991. I came to this country as per Lord’s Will. Even then the problems in my life had no ending. I lived amidst difficulty in this blessed nation. The Lord who promised is faithful. In 1993, the Lord miraculously helped us deliver our first son. Blessings started increasing in our life. The Lord kept blessing us.

Is 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall yet not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” The Lord gave us this word. I could not understand the meaning of that verse then. From 1998 until 1999, I was jobless for almost a year. The suffering that we went through cannot be told. Shame and fear of debts tormented us. Calling upon the Lord, I fell only at HIS feet. All through the year, we lived a life of faith, leaning on the Lord.

The Lord blessed me again with a good job saying, “Build my temple; start a church and name it King of Glory. I will bless you.” Is 60:22 “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” Is 60:7 “I will glorify the house of my glory.” Obeying the words of the Lord, King of Glory was started at Pemimpin Drive (Bishan) on 23rd September 2000. Many ministers of God took part and encouraged us.

Today the Lord has blessed this ministry many fold . He has made this church grow swiftly. Our burden is that this nation should know Jesus; my people should be saved. Singapore Indians, Indians from India, Malaysian Indians and Srilankan Indians should be saved. Lord! Give us souls. This is our yearning and prayer.

We are spreading the Gospel through various TV channels. Also we have started our web TV so that many across the globe will be blessed by this ministry. We also strive to build churches in India, to branch-out church ministry. “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. According to this verse let us bring the gospel of the Lord to the unsaved and add more souls to the Lord’s kingdom, as we step into the next year of the Lord’s mighty ministry. The Lord will continue leading us. May the Lord’s grace be with you. Amen.
