Hello Pixo is a video conversation app that works like a walkie-talkie. Press and hold a button to record video snippets with your front or rear camera; release to automatically transmit the snippet to your conversation partner. Responses play automatically. Conversations only require a finger – no typing required!

WHY WOULD I WANT TO USE HELLO PIXO?

Hello Pixo doesn’t replace the popular ways of communicating on mobile devices (real-time video chats, texting and so forth). Instead, Hello Pixo is an alternative that “fills the gaps” when existing tools are inappropriate, inconvenient or don’t work due to network reliability issues.

These are the most popular uses for Hello Pixo:

◆ When chatting is difficult due to language issues, you can take extra time to review a video snippet repeatedly for complete understanding.

◆ When cellular and WiFi networks are slow or unreliable, Hello Pixo transmits snippet files over low bandwidth connections that cannot sustain other communication apps.

◆ Need to multitask? Need extra think time before responding? Hello Pixo conversations don’t require real-time responses – it’s just like texting.

◆ Hate smartphone keyboards? If so, you’ll love Hello Pixo because the app doesn’t use typing for video conversations. It works simply by pressing and releasing a button.

HOW TO USE HELLO PIXO

1. Launch the app and create a new Pixo Room. Define a unique Pixo Room access code by selecting an animal and adding numbers and characters. (Longer is better.)

2. Enter an optional Pixo Room description to help you remember the conversation partner.

3. Give the access code to the conversation partner. You can also transmit the access code by email, SMS, or any other messaging app from inside Hello Pixo.

After your partner enters the Pixo Room access code, start chatting with video snippets.
