In a strange mood? Blow off some steam with your personal virtual psychologist.

Visit Happy Monkey Klinik ("HMK") when you're in an emotional mood, either good or bad, and tell the "doctor" how you feel.

HMK uses Speech Recognition (based on American English), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and topic-based rules to help you let off steam.

Speak clearly to the doctor through your phone to carry on a conversation that you might expect to have with a psychologist. Pick the doctor's brain and see if you can elicit some sage advice about your feelings and observations of life. If you mumble, say something weird, or there's background noise, though, you'll probably get a totally crazy response!

The doctor understands conversations about emotions such as:

- My wife is gorgeous.

- I hate my sister.

- I love my dog.

- My husband is a complete idiot.

- I feel very unhappy.

- Why do I feel so nervous?

Here's a fun prank. Clue in some friends or family members about HMK. Then, start saying really weird things around an unsuspecting "victim". You can be overly polite,

overly rude, or just plain weird. "My wife is so beautiful. Why is my daughter so ugly? My monkey is totally depressed." It won't be long before the victim is wondering if you

are suffering from heat stroke.

We're not going to tell you everything you can say - the fun of HMK is to see what kind of zany things the doctor knows about.

OK, we'll one more hint. You can get the doctor's unscientific opinion of you by periodically asking questions like "Am I crazy?".

Important: Happy Monkey Klinik is purely for entertainment, so any of the doctor's comments should be taken with a grain of salt.

Happy Monkey Klink 3 is an enhanced version of the original. If you have the original version, please uninstall it and install this version. (Sorry, I had a problem that prevents the old one from being automatically upgraded.)

If HMK cannot find any English TTS software, it will guide you through the installation of Google TTS. Google TTS has reasonable pronunciation, but intonation is not that great. IVONA has has better intonation, but the pitch is a bit low. The Pico TTS engine installed by default on many devices is very robotic.

You can change the TTS speed through HMK's Settings screen.

You can change the TTS voice from Android's Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Text-to-speech output. There are currently three variations for English: U.S., U.K., and Indian. HMK will use your default setting.
