YSR Congress Party came into being as a whiff of fresh air when political uncertainty coupled with apathy among political parties towards people’s problems was at its peak in the state.

The launching of the party became an imminent necessity as ideological wilderness gripped the ruling congress party with Delhi involving in remote control direction and calling the shots while the state government had neglected the administration and people’s welfare.

After the tragic death of the towering leader YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the vacuum and void could not be filled as the State had no leader who could match YSR in stature, vision and charisma. Nefarious plans came into full play and Delhi Durbar unfolded a methodical action plan to erase YSR and his nobility from the people’s memories.
