With the Velocity Meter Reading Platform (VMRP), no longer will meter technicians be bound by the physical limitations of vehicular delivery to transfer information from the field to the office. After scanning in meter readings out in the field and pairing with the Velocity Reads smartphone app, they will be able to instantly upload the readings to the Velocity Cloud. From there, billing and other administrative departments will be able to utilize this data, without waiting until the end of the day for the technicians to return. There is currently no product on the market that will do this. VMRP will be able to eventually utilize a new Velocity inspired meter reader (Velocity Reader) and legacy meter readers like the 700 Master Meter Series.

Paired with the Velocity cloud system, residents will be able to receive their invoices for water usage, rent, and any other property charges almost instantly upon reader data upload and can even pay their invoice online or in person at the property manager's office.
