নবীর সুন্নাহ সম্পর্কে জানা যায় হাদীস থেকে। বাংলা হাদীসের অনেকগুলো বড় বড় গ্রন্থ আছে । নবীর বাণীকে হাদীস বলে। আমরা তাঁর উম্মত বা অনুসারী দল। সঠিক পথ পাবার জন্যে তিনি আমাদের কাছে দুটি জিনিস রেখে গেছেন। একটি হলো আল্লাহর কুরআন। আর অপরটি হলো তাঁর সুন্নত বা সুন্নাহ। ইসলামের সত্য ও সঠিক পথকে জানাবার জন্যে আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর বাণী কুরআন শরিফকে বুঝতে হবে এবং মানতে হবে।
