The HTW Saarland Technoplus English VocabApp for students and staff / inside!

The HTW Saarland Technoplus VocabApp is the ideal complement to the multimedia at the HTW Saarland developed language learning program Technoplus English.

The app has been designed saar based on a survey of students at the HTW and is specially tailored to the needs of students, particularly in engineering courses.

Currently, the app contains nearly 2,000 terms from the basic vocabulary and from the fields of Business English and Technical English. The basic vocabulary range specifically trained vocabulary, which is provided at Techno Plus English as known. The learning units from the area of ​​Business English and Technical English are matched to the Situations and Engineering Topics of Techno Plus English and will be continuously expanded.

The Techno Plus VocabApp is the perfect complement to the mobile PC-based work with Technoplus English.

The entire vocabulary is divided into thematically oriented vocabulary packages.

The Techno Plus VocabApp was developed as part of research collaboration e mLanguageLearning between the HTW Saarland and the EUROKEY Software GmbH. The responsible author, Dr. phil. Christine Sick, is a professor of Applied Languages, CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), Multimedia and Distance Learning at the HTW Saarland.

For students and staff / inside the HTW Saarland, the app is free. After starting the app, you identify yourself as students simply with your student number or as employees / in with your personal access code and have access to the entire vocabulary and all functions of the app.
