Not a fluent Japanese person, but I feel like if you can read enough characters like hira/katakana, you can still enjoy this game. Also while Google Translate is buggy and tells you not exactly what it means, you can get the gist and still be able to understand what they are talking about. Big fan of the Touch Detective series and love the Funghi games. It is a lot of grinding for items and sending off funghi to get items. Kind of hard at times when events can drain you of your inventory quickly, but if you are an item hoarder and hang onto what you can, this game is still very enjoyable. (Best of all, if you forget to login, the funghi aren't going to whither at all!)
