Shorinji Kempo Unpad established since 1973. Shorinji Kempo is one of the martial arts originating from Japan. In Indonesia commonly referred to as Kempo only. This self-defense was created by Doshin So in 1947 as a training and self-development system. Shorinji Kempo has three benefits: training and self defense, mental training, and for health.
Shorinji Kempo martial arts techniques are divided into two, namely Goho and Juho. Goho is a martial arts technique that is hard, contains elements of punches, kicks, and tangkisan. Juho is a soft technique, containing elements in the form of kicks, locks, catches and throws. Juho's technique is very effective for dropping opponents, and it does not drain much power. This technique can break the opponent's body part because it focuses on the point of human weakness.
Kempo techniques are highly variable and effective, both lock-key techniques, kickbacks, kicks and punches. His moves are directed at the weak point (deadly spots on the human body), so it is very useful when used for real fighting and street fighting.
