This application manage the connection of external GPS devices via USB port and establish a NTRIP connection to a network provider as well as providing all relevant GNSS status informations to the user.
Moreover the GNSS Commander can transform WGS84 coordinates into a local coordinate system like "Gauss-Krueger" for germany. Additionally you can set a fixed offset to the transformation for further improvement of the calculated local coordinate. If you allow mock locations in the developer options of your android device you can use the position of the external receiver in any application. The preferred way to process the external GPS position in other apps without using "mock locations" is implementing a simple ContentObserver. You can even get the transformed local coordinate and more informations about the GPS status by using the app as content-provider.
The following devices are currently supported:
+ ppm 10xx GNSS solution with NTRIP feature
+ GPS receivers with FTDI chipset
+ GPS receivers with Silicon labs chipset
+ GPS receivers with bluetooth
+ GPS Status
+ Transformation into local coordinate system
+ Satellite list & Sky-Plot with subsystems like Galileo
+ show NMEA data from receiver
+ show current position in Google Maps
You need a license for:
+ DGPS correction data over internet
+ Content-Provider to access data from other apps
