Why do we use discount codes and not specific VIN discounts?

Discount codes give you the ability to change colors or options while at the dealer and still receive your discount price. Certificates lock you into a specific VIN. You will lose your discounted price if you change your mind, or the dealer tells you it was sold before you arrived.

We only allow trusted dealers with an excellent reputation to be a part of our dealer network.

Prior to becoming an RCB authorized dealer, we research their feedback and ratings.

Maintain Excellence:

If an RCB dealer receives poor feedback, they will be removed from our network.

Rethink Car Buying was created when a group of car enthusiasts crossed paths with a bunch of nerds.

A simple conversation about a recent car purchase turned into a rant. Almost, no one was happy with their dealer experience.

It starts with salespeople surrounding your car as you park and only gets worse.

We came to the conclusion that no one holds dealers accountable for their horrible ways.

No other industry works this way.

What went wrong? What could our little group of car lovers and nerds do to change things?

This website was the best answer we came up with. By grouping the power of multiple buyers, we can change the way car dealers treat their customers, just like a union changes a company's policies.

A dealer with a bad reputation won't even be considered to be in our network.

If we find out a dealer in our network isn't treating an RCB user with the utmost respect, we'll drop them immediately!

As more people purchase with RBC codes, the dealers will change the way that customers are treated.
